It can be difficult to find accessories for thick hair with springs and teeth strong enough to hold your hair up all day. The best accessories for thick hair tend to be larger and wide-toothed, made from sturdy materials that keep a firm grip without sliding out, snagging or snapping.
Clips for curly hair need to be strong to provide a firm, lasting hold. Our French Handmade accessories are hand polished so they are gentle on curls and less likely to snag or cause frizz, while being strong enough to hold thick, curly hair.

Which Hair Accessory Should I Choose for My Hair Colour?
Finding hair accessories to match or complement your hair colour can be tricky. We have a wide range of colourways designed for all hair colours, created with our customers and colour trends in mind.
For warm brunettes and blondes, we recommend our classic Dark Tokio colourway. For grey or silver hair, we love Opal and Onyx, as they beautifully complement this hair colour. For cooler blondes and brunettes, White Tokio and Prada Style are lovely choices. For red and auburn hair, Crème Brûlée and Vanilla look beautiful.

Why Are Some Clips More Expensive Than Others?
Our French Handmade hair accessories are priced higher than our French Essentials because they take much longer to make, following a detailed, multi-step process that includes three stages of polishing. They are lovingly made from cellulose acetate, a material that is strong and long-lasting yet flexible. Crafted with care and polished for a beautifully smooth finish, they are gentle on your hair.
Our French Essentials are also made from strong, durable materials. Offcuts from the handmade collection are ground down and reused, so nothing goes to waste. This material is then injection moulded rather than handmade, which is reflected in the price.
Do You Sell Gift Cards?
Yes, we sell a Digital Gift Card. You can also add gift wrapping to your order, and leave a gift message in the note on the basket page. Each gift is presented in a fully recyclable gift box made from 99% recycled board, tied with a biodegradable ribbon.
